Our house

Well done to everyone for a fantastic afternoon of house sport. There was some super team work on show and I really enjoyed seeing the skills you have developed throughout the term.

Particularly well done to McGregors who were the champions in U8 and U9 hockey and also in the netball!

Making a scene

To finish off our study of A Midsummer Night's Dream, we made different scenes from the play using shoe boxes. Can you guess what is happening in each one?

To celebrate NSW we have been looking at the play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Some of the children had come across this story last year and we enjoyed reminding ourselves about what a pickle all the characters end up in!

The children took inspiration from Puck and Oberon's medellimg love potion when writing instructions for their own potions. Warning- some are a little gruesome!

Fun in music

I enjoyed popping in to see how everyone was getting on in music this week. I was very impressed by the rhythms the children had created using the boom sticks.

What a fantastic day we had in Bath, or, as the Romans would say, Aquae Sulis!

We made, mosaics, wrote in Latin, and found out about Roman foods before taking a tour of the baths. A super start to our Romans topic.

Triathletes!

Well done to both of the teams who took part in the triathlon this afternoon! You all worked so hard and made us very proud! We were particularly impressed by the way you supported each other and your fantastic behaviour.

Team Weasley came 2nd in their swimming race and won their cross country run, and, Team Potter earns enough points to come third over all!
