Walk like a Roman!

About to have a tooth taken our, Roman style.

Feeling unsure about some of the Roman medicines.

All dressed up and ready to fight; my knees are shaking in fear!

All cramped into our barracks, while Mrs Penny, the centurion relaxes in luxury.

Roman toilets...

Entering the amphitheatre through the vomitorium.

This is where the gladiators prayed before a battle.

Our very own gladiatrix being greeted by her fans.

Jamaica

In geography, we talked about physical and human features and made our own maps of Jamaica. Mr Jakobek, who teaches in the Senior School, was very impressed!

Look at our super DT work!

A game of skill

On Thursday we stayed together as a class for our Maths lesson. We played some fun games which helped us to think about strategy and logic.

It was difficult to explain the ideas we had, but we came up with some interesting suggestions involving odd and even numbers, parallel lines and subtraction.

Moan, moan, moan

We have been writing letters of complaint from an angry giant to his unwelcome visitor Jack. I think Jack would be feeling very guilty after reading these!

Good luck, Ellie.

We had a lovely party to say good luck to Ellie. We hope she has lots of fun at her new school!

Sin, dex, sin, dex...

What a great day of training for the Roman Army. Claudius Maximus was very strict but he soon whipped the soldiers into shape for battle.
